Powers: All are typical to being a bitten werewolf. Physical Description: Scott is about 5’ 8” and 150 lbs. He’s rather well toned but not exactly bulky. His brown hair is usually just brushed and left to get wild over the hours which he doesn’t exactly care about. He has blue eyes and he’s tattooed pretty much to Hell and back, getting something new done whenever the mood strikes him. Scott is very rarely clean shaven and usually has a beard to a varying degree. He has a bite scar on his left shoulder. The one staple of his wardrobe is his great collection of jeans of various colors (mostly dark) and various states of repair. He has dress jeans and work jeans and everything inbetween. His shirts are usually dark in color and ripped or stained with grass. He just wears whatever the fuck he likes and if that ends up having some kind of crazy scarf and cracked out sunglasses, so be it. The closer he gets to the full moon, the more wolf-like he is. His eyes become more wolf-like and his teeth get sharper. Even his nails seem to get longer and sharper. He’s just glad he doesn’t get a tail... His wolf form is a rather beautiful white wolf. Personality: Scott’s pretty damned personable, enjoying the company of others and really likes to just hang out. Impulsive, he’ll take off at a moment’s notice to go on some crazed vacation or something else (Canada ahoy). That’s one of the benefits of owning his own business. He really likes to be independent so he can do whatever the Hell he wants when ever he wants to. It doesn’t make him afraid of commitments though as he has been married once before and he is a good employer – everyone gets paid, everyone has their jobs to do. He’s even been part of a pack once upon a time. His favorite thing in the whole world is lawnmower racing. He will try almost anything once but he’s not going to do anything that he finds stupid. Usually. Scott’s the type of guy you can easily convince to go skydiving or bungee jumping and has ended up getting whacked in the groin so many times just for a stint on America’s Funniest Home Videos. It’s never happened but he’ll keep trying, especially now with that lupine healing factor. He thinks it’s all hilarious though more so when it’s happening to other people. Schadenfreude is his friend. Around the full moon, he ends up acting like a really excitable dog. In more ways than one. It is not unknown for him to end up burying his face in a pretty girl’s neck just because they smell really good at the time. And he’d enjoy a good tummy rub... But he’ll most commonly describe his mood as “needing sex and a sandwich. Preferably at the same time.” He usually sticks to just the sandwich. And some porn. Sexuality: Hetero History: Denise and Brian Ackerman had no idea what they were getting to when they had their son Scott. He was a wild child from birth; not by any choice of his own but by having been born with ADHD. He was holding his head up in the hospital shortly after birth and the nurses had to put a net over his bassinet to make sure he didn’t topple out. When he was about 11 months old, his mother found him 12 feet up a tree. He would climb walls to get into high windows just so he could look out. It was no wonder that he didn’t do very well in school. More times than anyone could count, he got sent home for causing trouble or escaping the grounds of the school by leaping from rooftop to rooftop. You could always tell when he didn’t take his Ritalin. He did eventually start straightening out in high school... Mostly. His school work got done and he graduated anyway. But he ended up with this strange group of friends who liked to cause as much trouble as he did – pranking people, doing stupid, stupid things... He got more broken bones in those four years than he had in his whole life time. When he was nineteen he fell in love with a woman named Tanya. They dated for awhile then got married about a year and a half later. As soon as they were married, the problems started but it wasn’t anything they couldn’t work out. Thomas – Tommy was born six years ago, completely deaf. He was the light of Scott’s life and really his reason for living. But it became more and more difficult to deal with Tanya’s issues so they decided to try a trial separation. To deal with it, Scott went on a camping trip with his friends. That was where he ended up getting bitten by a werewolf. On the next full moon, he changed... Realizing the day after what had happened, it became clear that he was beyond thrilled and excited. He told Tommy first and the four year old thought it was the coolest thing ever. Which is why Tommy told his mother. Tanya immediately filed for divorce. Scott wanted to fight it but he couldn’t afford the attorney at the time. So he gave in and signed the papers... (Quietly thanking his lucky stars that he became a werewolf after the separation and was not effected by the mating for life thing with that psycho bitch.) His now ex-wife immediately disappeared along with their son and he has no idea where they’ve gone. Scott too disappeared shortly after, spending a little while learning about his new lycanthropy with a pack in the wilderness of Canada. Eventually he returned to Scarlet Oak, far more comfortable with what he was, recovered from all the drama except for one... But there was nothing he could do. So he started a business. Scott started a landscaping company that generally takes care of all the township wide properties, making sure the medians and business lawns and everything are mowed and presentable. He does some good hard work just to earn enough money to hire the best team of private investigators ever. If only, if only. Since the Light of May: Honestly, not much changed for Scott with the Light of May. All his friends that were true friends knew he was a werewolf and stuck around. Living in a refurbished firehouse, he had a nice brick basement which he had turned into a place to keep his beastly form secure so he didn’t have to take up room for other weres who were not so fortunate... Special Skills/Abilities: Mowing lawns, American Sign Language, climbing things, getting into trouble, annoying people, playing the drums! Personal Weaknesses: Tommy Ackerman – his son is his biggest weakness. He’d give anything to know where that kid was including literally his right arm. Or his left arm. Most any limb really. Werewolfism – All the weaknesses included in being a werewolf like a silver allergy are now his. Good thing he never really bothered with silver in the first place. But that mating for life thing is just killing him. Lack of Self-Control – Scott doesn’t generally have a lot of self-control. He indulges himself and those around him in whatever feels good at the time as long as it’s not something stupid like drugs or shit like that. But jumping off a roof with a mess of umbrellas and hoping it slows him down? Sure. Why not? Authority Figures – He’s not so great around authority figures unless they’re bigger and stronger than him which is saying a lot anymore. And he’s not that great with police. Pack Mentality – Scott unconsciously forms a pack around him of all kinds whether they’re weres or not. He doesn’t quite take the lead in a pack but he’s always the one backing up the leader with his fists. Personal Strengths: Sociable – Very sociable, he’s generally a very happy critter, bothering people wherever he goes except when he’s moping about his son. Aw. Cute. Pain Tolerance – Because of all the crap he puts his body through, he has a bit of a higher pain tolerance than most people. Although he’d note that certain pain meds don’t work as well as they used to either.
